Dr. Rubenstein is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his Undergraduate studies at Stanford University, majoring in Biological Sciences then completed M.D. at Cornell University Medical College and a Ph.D. at the Rockefeller University. In Molecular and Cellular Neurosciences.  His clinical training subsequently was in Internal Medicine at Stanford followed by Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and Neuro-Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.
